Welcome to Zakat Calculator, a user-friendly tool for accurately calculating your Zakat obligations. Zakat is a fundamental pillar of Islam, requiring Muslims to give a portion of their wealth to those in need. Our Zakat Calculator simplifies this process, ensuring you fulfill your religious duties with confidence and ease.
Nisab is calculated based on the value of Gold and Silver. If a person possesses more than 87.48 grams of gold and 612.36 grams of silver then he/she is eligible to pay zakat. This amount is called the Nisab threshold.
If the value of your assets exceeds the value of the “Nisab” threshold, then 2.5% of the total value will be your payable Zakat.
To be eligible to receive zakat, the recipient must be poor and/or needy. A poor person is someone whose property, in excess of his basic requirements, does not reach the Nisab threshold. The recipient must not belong to your immediate family; your spouse, children, parents, and grandparents cannot receive your zakat.
